Dreamlight High School, founded by Dr. Stephene Loremy in March 2017 in Apopka, Florida, is a fully Non-Profit Virtual High School. Its mission is to provide educational opportunities to individuals from other countries with incomplete education or high school students who have struggled to pass their state-required tests, offering them a chance to earn a high school diploma. The school also welcomes professionals and business people who may be functioning without a high school diploma, as Dreamlight offers virtual learning that allows students to work at their own pace.

Dr. Loremy’s vision for Dreamlight High School is to empower students with the fundamental skills of reading and writing, enabling them to thrive in the world and create a better future for themselves. He recognizes that without a high school diploma, one’s choices in life can be limited, and overcoming this barrier is crucial. As such, Dreamlight High School is committed to helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who come from other countries or face challenges in passing state-required tests.

Dreamlight High School accepts students who are 16 years old and older, and offers a credit recovery program that typically takes three to six months to complete. The school emphasizes the importance of students reading and following the rules laid out by the institution to ensure a successful learning experience. The program is designed to cater to a wide range of individuals, including high school dropouts, young adults, and busy parents who may not be able to attend physical classrooms. Students can participate in the program from the comfort of their homes, workplaces, or any location with internet access, with the goal of continuing their education.

While currently serving 9-12 grade adult students with the Abeka curriculum, Dreamlight High School has plans to expand its offerings to include multi-programs for all ages in the future. Dr. Loremy’s unwavering passion is to provide an opportunity for anyone, without distinction, to obtain a high school diploma and unlock greater possibilities in life.
